The PushtiMargiya Vaishnav Samaj of SouthEast USA, popularly known as “Gokuldham” disciples’ of great saint Mahaprabhuji have crossed a mile stone and come closer to build “Haveli”, a prominent house of worship in the Vaishnav community for their beloved Lord Shrinathji and Yamunaji. Vaishnavs of “Gokuldham” have acquired a piece of 12-acre land in city of Suwanee, a suburb of Atlanta.
Land acquisition took place on the auspicious day of “Nirjala Ekadashi”, June 1, 2012. A dedicated young group of volunteers have a big dream to create first time in USA a “Vraj” like holy pilgrimage with Mahaprabhuji’s “Bethako” and a playground for young children. The young volunteers of Gokuldham, all professionals and guided by HDH Shasthpthdishwar Goswami 108 Shree Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshree (Kankaroli-Vadodra) have their place of worship at Global Mall now. The dedicated volunteers have planned three religious discourses (Kathas) this year and it will culminate into Bhoomipujan of their land somewhere in September/October 2012.

During the initial years of inception, congregation of Gokuldham was meeting once in a month at Gujarati Samaj of Atlanta building. Since last two years, Gokuldham has been renting the space at Global Mall. While at Global Mall, Gokuldham has conducted many religious activities but the most important amongst them were to start the traditional “Mandir” with daily “Drashan” and “Aarti” and starting “Gokuldham Vidyalaya” to start teachings of “Pushtimarg” to young children. Just like many groups in Atlanta who have realized their dream of having a place for worship of their own, Gokuldham is marching straight to their goal with speed!

Interestingly, Atlanta has maximum number of places of worship and grape vine is that there are couples of groups/sects looking for place of their own!
